Jim Vanderberg

Jim Vanderberg, a Wisconsin native, made a name as a race car driver. His parents immigrated to Canada when they were children. His grandparents were candy makers in Eastern Europe. They used their skills to get to Canada. Once they settled in the country, they decided to start a business. The family bought land with maple trees and began making maple syrup. This business eventually became a large industry in Eastern Canada.

Jim Vandenberg enjoyed life. He was the past president of Williamsville Fire Department. He also served as a truck driver, pump operator, and he married Mary Gladstone Vandenberg, July 22, 2006. Jim and Mary enjoyed golf and travel together. They often traveled to Branson, MO, and South Dakota. They loved hunting and spending as much time outdoors as possible. Jim was also a lifelong member of the National Rifle Association (NRA). His grandchildren were his life, and he loved to watch them play games and watch movies.

Jim was born in Eastern Europe. His grandparents owned a small farm where they grew maple trees. They eventually sold the business, but Jim continues the family tradition by harvesting maple sap each year to make maple candy. Jim quit his corporate job in the 2020s to become a full-time maple syrup candy producer. Jim Vanderberg currently lives in Toronto, Canada.
