Weekend in Ibiza – Where to Stay?

Planning a weekend trip to Ibiza but unsure where to stay?  When it comes to picking a place to stay, Ibiza has a few main places which are San Antonio, Playa d’en Bossa, Ibiza Town and Santa Eulalia. San Antonio is located on the West side of the island whereas the other 3 are located on the East side. All the places are great however all have different vibes as well.

San Antonio is mostly favoured by the British however just like whole of Ibiza, you will find plenty of tourists from different countries. San Antonio is also the perfect location for sunsets. Here you will find two super clubs – Eden and Es Paradis. There are plenty of bars and restaurants, if you are a bar person then you won’t be disappointed with The Strip, which is a long street full of bars and places to dance, there are also a lot of fast food places.

Playa d’en Bossa is known to be the party central of Ibiza where you can find super clubs, bars, beach clubs and restaurants. The two famous super clubs in the area are Ushuaia and Hi Ibiza. The place also shares its name with the longest beach in Ibiza, playa in Spanish is beach. There are many beach clubs scattered along the long coast line where you can have a relaxing day while drinking a few cocktails and listening to top DJs!

Ibiza Town is the capital of Ibiza and the most populated town on the island. This place has a lot of history however plenty of exquisite restaurants and bars as well. It is a short drive from Playa d’en Bossa and also a short distance to the super club Pacha. There is also a main port where you can take a ferry to Formentera or charter a private boat or yacht for the day.

Santa Eulalia is also a beautiful town located on the East side, around 15-minute drive from Ibiza Town. This place is more favoured by families and although there are no bigger night clubs in the area, the night life is still great, although it is a little bit quieter. So, if you’re a party person then this may not be the best place to choose, we recommend sticking to the three listed above.
